The quest for the sperm whale
And the quest for the sperm whale. The huge and mythical sea monster that is slowly emerging from the depths. The rest of us, small humans, with bated breath, sweep the surface of our eyes that dare not blink for fear of missing the sound of the venting signifying the presence of the beast. We listen, we feel, and are patient, we stalk with love just to see his beauty and mystery. Then the whale allows himself to be seen, he moves through the foam — his head, his back and then his breath… We like to think that he beacons, he greets us and forgives us.
