Out of the blue into the green on mountain bike

Bolivia is a fascinating country that will reveal natural wonders and a variety of ecosystems. It will show you the most ancient civilizations of South America, and maybe of the world. A country which can be visited from the Andean high plains to the Amazon river basin; from the deserts to the rain forests. La Paz, Lake Titicaca, Sorata, Mapiri, the jungle… After several walks in the Lake Titicaca area to meet its inhabitants, there is a breathtaking descent of more than 3,000 m by bike — you move from the dry plains of the Altiplano to the humidity of the Amazon jungle. And then why not another descent, rafting, on a tributary of the Amazon to explore the Madidi National Park and its unique biodiversity ? Or, for the more seasoned, tackle a glacier and then climb the Illampu-Ancohuma ? With this more physical trip you will discover a beautiful and extreme Bolivia; and of course some aspects of its great culture.
