A great experience
We arrived at the Milazzo port where the boat was docked after a comfortable bus transfer from Catania along a road with suburb views. The Aeolian Islands held many surprises for us including the impressionable Vulcano with its many small craters that had created incredible geometric shapes. The food on board was very good and largely based on fish and other seafood, and the picnic in Salina was similarly excellent. The guide was not ever-present which we appreciated, however he was always able to respond to our questions knowledgeably. A great experience.
