Mascarenes: Réunion, Mauritius, Rodrigues – From the Pitons to the Lagoons
In the Mascarene Islands
Three pearls in the southern Indian OceanSituated at the southern end of the Indian Ocean there are a few islands that are close geographically, each with such different characters. First of all, Réunion Island, politically French territory with multiple cultural influences, it offers a very volcanic landscape – out of the ordinary with fantastic possibilities for walks and hikes around the famous Pitons culminating at 3,070 metres of altitude! Further east, Mauritius, a former British colony, with its superb coast offers many activities (beach, water sports, diving, snorkelling), there are the well-known tourist parts but also wilder parts such as the south coast. Finally the island of Rodrigues even further east, which has retained its authenticity and offers some of the most beautiful lagoons in the world. What could be better than to combine them during an exceptional trip.
A colourful road trip in New England
In New England
In autumn, travel along wonderful little roads and witness an explosion of coloursIn the autumn in New England, nature sets itself on fire, the leaves turn orange and red, and the spectacle becomes magical. Make sure to keep an eye on the road as your attention is captured by each tree, grove, or hill. And when the red finally fades, it is to make way for the deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean and its beautiful coast. This hilly region of the United States, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, is ideal for a slow and contemplative road trip.
