The montane rain forest and its famous quetzal, the Caribbean coast and the imperial toucan, the Pacific coast and the mythical jaguar: three icons over a myriad of others. Costa Rica offers much more to attentive observers: with a surface as large as Switzerland, there is no lack of opportunities to make magnificent observations.
