Biography of Matthieu Zellweger

Matthieu Zellweger, born in 1971, grew up in Switzerland. He has traveled the world, primarily Asia, many times. For twenty years (especially an overland crossing of Asia from Istanbul to Tokyo in 2006), Matthew researched images reflecting moments that make life in a country, its culture and its implications for public health issues.
Matthieu Zellweger has 15 years experience in the field of health, a full scientific training and a degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics. He gave various conferences and exhibited his pictures many times. In 2014, Matthew Zellweger won Activist Award from Photo Philanthropy as a photographer of social issues. In 2013, he was nominated "Emerging Photojournalist" by proof.org. He is represented and distributed by Haytham Pictures (Paris).
Matthieu Zellweger lives in Switzerland and works in French, English, German and Italian.
