Fair winds and a good journey, future travelers to the Aeolians
Life onboard — Well, I do not want to reveal all. I would say that you need to book this magnificent trip, discover the sea, the feeling, get close to the way of the boat, be lulled and simply sail. The boat is very nice and comfortable, the food is excellent, the fish and the fruit is super fresh…hmm…delicacies. Between sailing, swimming in the various bays of the islands, reading, taking a nap and meals, a lovely week awaits you. Victor is always at your disposal and the under-cook Omar is very nice.
The islands — Each different they all have their own charm. Our favorite was Salina which remained more authentic, less touristy in contrast to the others with more friendly inhabitants.
The highlight of the trip was, of course, the climb to the summit of Stromboli, arriving at night. This cannot be explained – you just have to live it.
Finally, a BIG THANK YOU to Nicolas, our guide, who speaks perfect French. He is a warm and attentive person who was with us for the week and who conveyed his passion for the volcanos. We recount anecdotes about the Sicilians, their beliefs and of the captain.
I would need a couple of pages to tell everything. The best thing would be to go there.
