Explore this legendary route, and the surrounding landscapes which will take your breath away. Ishen Obolbekov, of Kyrgyz mountain shepherd heritage, together with his family, has developed a range of horseback riding itineraries using the back country and the mountains he knows so well. The Pamir Mountains, the Silk Road, the endless plains, Ishen’s itineraries follow routes full of wonders that are no longer to be found in a crowded Europe. The Kyrgyz mountain horse is of a very docile breed – ideal for novice riders.

During this presentation Ishen, an English speaker, will describe the opportunities this beautiful Central Asian country – the Mountains of Paradise – offers. The presentation will include two short films :
Chez les nomades kirghizes, a Serge Musy film (13 min.) and Route de la Soie, sur les pas d’Ella Maillart, a Bernard Repond film (15 min.).
