Iceland is noted for its wild desolation and its volcanic geology but it is also a source of life and the hope of life. It is a land that encourages relaxation, healing and exploration of nature and oneself. Iceland is characterized by the four different seasons with the changing presence of the sun ranging from its absence to its ever-presence.
In December the night is never truly black. Sometimes there is the aurora borealis with its unearthly accompanying sound on occasion but other than that there is always the faint glow of the reflected sun. By February the night is about the same length as it is in Switzerland and of course in the summer it is the land of the unending sun.
The region of Lac Myvátn offers a wide range of the wonders found in Iceland, the activities proposed by Harpa and Jean-Marc fit well into this sublime landscape: yoga, relaxation, massage, hot baths, hiking, trekking, and enjoying the area.
