This is how you get to Africa via the ocean without getting wet ! Just climb up the valley to the foot of Anniviers Zinal glacier. After touching the remains of a vanished ocean, you can see how the glaciers retreated, just before they finally melt.

This tour will introduce you to the geology and the ephemeral nature of our environment in the sublime Anniviers at the foot of majestic Weisshorn.

Biography of Eric Champod

After 5 years of research on the paleogeography of Greece, he now devotes to projects of applied geology, mapping natural hazards modeling for infrastructure planning. He likes to share his knowledge and introduce other to the study of rocks and their history.
