From the Pont-de-Nant with its alpine botanical garden on the beautiful Vare plateau, you are introduced to the flora of this beautiful little valley in the Vaud Alps by two local botanical experts.

More than a guided hike — this is a real learning experience in this stunning landscape. You gain hands-on experience of the plants, their special properties, how they are used, what their inter-relationships are and what they tell you about the soils, altitude and the climate and the micro-climate.

Biography of Marlène Galletti & Rose Panchard

Both are graduates of the Lyon School of Medicinal Plants and medium mountain guides. They are passionate about nature, mountains and plants. They chose to share their knowledge and share their enthusiasm for nature and plants and gastronomy. These walks are an expression of these interests.
