Jean-Marc Pfefferlé, an avid walker and a doctor of Bio-chemistry, is a regular client of A Taste of Travel. Recently we became aware of his working life, he is an expert in the the link between hiking and nutrition – the relationship of healthy eating, walking, & weight control in the magnificent surroundings of the Swiss mountains. A concept that is close to our hearts. It starts with a few hours soft hiking in a beautiful region of Switzerland with a guide who encourages you feel the physical effort (heart rate, respiration). The basics of nutrition (energy, calories) are explained, and your surrounding environment (flora and fauna) is discussed.
You will receive a better understanding of your own body, and you can improve yourself physically and mentally with this wonderful programme.
During this presentation, Jean-Marc will cover different aspects of the outings and fitness in an original form.

Biography of Jean-Marc Pfefferlé
Master in Chemistry, PhD in Science, manager in an international company, MBA, Jean-Marc Pfefferlé has all the titles. But first and foremost, nearly 20 years of walking from Corsica to Slovakia brought him a pleasure he would like to share with you: the beautiful scenery, the change of pace, the discovery of local culture and renewed vitality in contact with nature. By adding the knowledge of health and nutrition he acquired through a CAS at the University of Lausanne, the professional coaching Jean-Marc offers enables him to include some notions of well-being by the management of physical effort and food.
